Emotional Content Recordings (ECR) is a record label with a clear mission: to release the finest in ethereal, atmospheric, and emotive electronic music, spotlighting both emerging and established talent from around the globe. Since ECR's inception, Planet has partnered with founder Nick Lewis, crafting hundreds of release covers and special edition album covers.
Our design approach for ECR focuses on creating visuals that resonate with the label's unique sound. Each cover is a blend of artistry and innovation, capturing the ethereal and emotive qualities of the music. We experiment with a variety of techniques and styles, ensuring that each release stands out while maintaining a cohesive brand identity. This collaboration allows us to continuously push the boundaries of design, creating compelling and memorable artwork.
Sleeping Satellite marks a shift from electronica to an organic House/Deep House sound. The brief was to craft something more natural and soft, distinct from the traditional ECR label. We experimented with AI technology to help create the artwork, achieving a unique and innovative visual identity.
